2021-2022 Virtual Learning Program

• The BCPS Virtual Learning Program will provide full-time virtual instruction from BCPS staff, including live (synchronous) instruction and anytime (asynchronous) learning for student in Grades K-12. Students enrolling in the BCPS Virtual Learning Program will also remain enrolled in their BCPS school. As a BCPS student, they may participate in meals, sports, extracurricular activities, and other opportunities.
• Families who register for the Virtual Learning Program will be asked to commit for the full school year by completing this form.  A list of courses, which will NOT be offered in the Virtual Learning Program, are available.  Additional information will be posted on the Web site.  Families can send questions to VLP@bcps.org at any time.
• Families should carefully review the information on the Virtual Learning Program site including course availability.
• For families/caregivers new to BCPS, students must be enrolled into their home school before requesting co-enrollment in the VLP. 
• After enrolling in their home school, BCPS staff must complete the enrollment form as soon as possible to support planning and scheduling.
• Once enrollment forms have been submitted, staff will review the information submitted in alignment with guidance provided by MSDE and the Virtual Learning Program design to ensure appropriateness for students and confirm registration.
